This page contains the documentation and tools to generate the OMOP HOI and DOI era data to be used for the OMOP method evaluation. These eras are generated through a series of steps based on the CDM and definition files for HOIs and DOIs. Detailed information about how to create these tables are described in the Implementation Process Documentation.

Prerequisites
a. Create supplemental tables for HOI and DOI generation and load reference and ancestor data: All specifications, Oracle SQL definitions and data files are in HOIandDOITables.zip.

Creation of Health Outcome of Interest Eras
a. Execute Regularized Identification of Cohorts (RICO) to populate the HOI_OCCURRENCE table. Download RICO and documentation from the Methods library.
b. Execute the AMI#4 definition script, also populating the HOI_OCCURRENCE table.
c. Execute Generalized ERA Logic Developer (GERALD) to populate the HOI_ERA table
d. Execute the Era Integration program to populate the OMOP_CONDITION_ERA table

Creation of Drugs of Interest Eras
a. Execute the Generalized ERA Logic Developer (GERALD) to populate the DOI_ERA table
b. Execute the Era Integration program program to populate the OMOP_DRUG _ERA table
