The Observational Medical Dataset Simulator (OSIM) is an open-source software application that allows users to create simulated datasets that conform to the OMOP Common Data Model.

The procedure is being used to create simulated datasets to support OMOP's central methods development activities, as well as to facilitate the OMOP Cup methods competition.  To learn more about OSIM and download the final deliverables, including source code, specifications document and final reports, website subscribers may go to http://omop.fnih.org/osim.
